Tony Atkinson, passed away on the 22nd August 2007 aged 45yrs. At the time of his passing he was a much treasured house husband and dad. Tony lived in a house although he always prefered tents!! Tony was an only child son of Joan and Terry Atkinson and was born in Wombwell Yorkshire. Tony had only one child, Simone whom he cherished and was very proud of. His extended family was mary and arthur (parents in law) whom he loved and treated as his own and then there was Leisha,Jake,Damien Jamie,Kane,Chloe & Catlin who he loved and lived for.
Tony passed away as he should have, peacefully in his bed at home, and although he had suffered from a long term illness it was not the reason he left us.
The only tribute that can be paid to tonys memory is as follows -
"IF YOU NEW HIM, YOU HAVE A MEMORY. IF NO MEMORY IS THERE! YOU DIDNT KNOW HIM AT ALL" and he leaves a thousand smiles behind.

hiya my darling, things are same old but rubbish without you. never thought life without you would get this hard. its soon to be christmas but i need to get past the 5th of december first, 16 years!!! the RAF came through for us and simones doing good at uni. love you and miss you xxxxxxxxxxx p.s not a day passes when you are not in my thoughts xx

Happy 46th Birthday! Wish it was like last year but that is never going to happen again :( Would give anything to watch you dance to rubu,ruby,ruby again haha! Miss you everyday and i love you so much mum is doing okay just about still have to sort her out when it comes to the housework haha!! But i really hope you have a lovely birthday up there and dont be partying to hard with all those angels!!

Hi Uncle Tony, Jake and i love u very much and still cant believe you are gone..... we think of you every day! Where ever you are i hope your doing good and the parties where as good as ours were with you!!!!... its mad because although i think of all the happy family times and how kind and thoughtful you were i cant help but think about you when im out and at gatherings because i know if you were there things will be much funnier and so much more enjoyable... you were the life and soul of any party and i miss that lots!!!!.....ruby ruby ruby ruby!!! ... ah ah ah ah ah ah!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Tony, I didn't know you as well as some, I do remember you being a lovely bloke, good laugh & cleaning your car whilst waiting for Lisa to finish work.. That had to be the cleanest car around!!
There are a fair few characters where you are now, Im sure they'll look after you.
